Global Inclusion Awards
The Global Inclusion Awards (GIA), recognize and honor those who achieve greatness in furthering the Economic Citizenship of children and youth at the national, regional and international level. The Awardees demonstrate innovation in financial, social and livelihoods education, financial inclusion, and entrepreneurial support for children and youth.
The GIA was initiated by Child & Youth Finance International (CYFI) in 2012 and was handed over to the Alliance for Financial Inclusion (AFI) at the end of 2019.

2019
The GIA2019 was organized by CYFI and hosted by The Banking Association South Africa (BASA) and partners in Johannesburg, South Africa.
2018
The GIA2018 was organized by CYFI, the Argentina’s G20 Presidency and GPFI, with the support of the G20-2020 Saudi Secretariat in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
2017
The GIA2017 was organized by CYFI and the German G20 Presidency/ German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) in Berlin, Germany.
2016
The GIA2016 was organized by CYFI in collaboration with Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority, the Swedish Royal Coin Cabinet and Swedbank at the Golden Hall in Stockholm City Hall, Sweden.
2015
The GIA2015 was organized by CYFI and hosted by Valerie Howarth, Baroness Howarth of Breckland at the House of Lords, Houses of Parliament in London, the UK.
2014
The GIA2014 was organized by CYFI as part of the CYFI Global Summit with the support of UNCDF at the United Nations in New York, the US.
2013
The GIA2013 was organized by CYFI as part of the CYFI Global Summit in Istanbul, Turkey. It was held under the patronage of the Capital Markets Board of Turkey (CMB), in collaboration with Borsa İstanbul and with the contributions of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) and partners.
