I worked together with the OECD International Network on Financial Education (OECD/INFE) and supported with strategic communications of Global Money Week.

Global Money Week (GMW) is an annual global awareness-raising program on the importance of ensuring that young people, from an early age, are financially aware, and are gradually acquiring the knowledge, skills, attitudes and behaviors necessary to make sound financial decisions and ultimately achieve financial well-being and financial resilience. The 10th edition of GMW took place during 21-27 March 2022.

To help raise awareness about the GMW Program/GMW brand, I supported with strategic communications, developed digital content and marketing collaterals. My responsibilities included:

  • GMW website management │ This included maintaining the website, creating designs, and developing visual plans to illustrate ideas to the team. Also, developing, reviewing and editing text, creating content and visuals, updating pages, etc. *Familiar with Joomla and know basic HTML.

  • GMW newsletters & media │ Developed content, edited text and designed GMW newsletters including country highlights, tracking and collecting media outreach. Making sure to share all the amazing work done by participating organizations from over 100 countries worldwide.

  • GMW social media management │ Managed GMW online presence by developing social media strategy, creating plans, overseeing social media accounts’ design, developing written and visual content, compiling social media toolkits, suggesting and implementing new features to build brand awareness, managing daily posts during the busiest weeks, and so much more.

  • Graphic design │ From planning creative concepts to reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements when necessary. Producing key resources, external and internal how-to guides, and GMW marketing materials. I worked with documents in English, French, Spanish, Russian, Portuguese, and more. Designed the GMW reports, created website and social media banners in Adobe Creative Suite. *See some examples on this website. 

  • GMW branding │ Ensured quality and consistent brand messaging from online, print to events.

This report includes country overviews, events and activities in over 100 countries, and so much more. It is full of fantastic ideas of how children, youth and their communities around the world participated in Global Money Week 2022.

GMW Toolkit

This is a guidebook for everyone interested in participating in Global Money Week. The Toolkit will help you plan your events and includes information about the Campaign, steps of how to plan your GMW, ideas for activities, publicity and media tips, branding guidelines, as well as an overview of the resources available.

GMW Branding Guidelines

In this guidebook, you will find applications for the Campaign’s logos, colors, typefaces, and design templates that express the GMW brand. It covers all materials produced for the Campaign, including examples for GMW promotional materials.

GMW Brochure

A two-pager that you can use in events prior to the GMW, so you can promote the Campaign and raise awareness about it. The brochure includes information about GMW, activities, resources, and the organization.

GMW Social Media Toolkit

This guidebook is for everyone who is going to participate in GMW and would like to raise awareness about the Campaign. If you are interested to learn more about how to use social media to share news about GMW before, during and after the Week, then this Toolkit is for you.
